Industry can't get feds to go after consumers

The LA Times has a nice piece about how the RIAA and MPAA are having a tough time getting federal prosecutors to go after downloaders.

"No U.S. attorney wants to be the guy who put a UCLA sophomore in jail for downloading Britney Spears," said George Washington University law professor Orin Kerr, a former federal high-tech crimes specialist.

Nothing new, but some nice quotes and worth a read.
