Italian artists have signed a petition supporting the FIMI
(the Italian RIAA) against file-sharing. A total of 60 artists included their names in the document addressed "to the
greater institutions of the State".
"No to the demagogy and the hypocrisy of free music on the Net."
The list includes popular artists like Biagio Antonacci, Giorgia, Andrea Bocelli, Eros Ramazzotti, Ligabue, Tiziano Iron, Elisa, Gianni Morandi, Lucio From, Antonello Venditti among others.
