men at work album coverNot just in Europe that music download services are competing for the lowest price. In response to Telstra offer of songs at AUD0.99 ($0.76) Destra announced it would lower the price of downloads to AUD0.89 ($0.65) during April.

 Industry analysts see the decision as "act of desperation":

"By cutting their price, they are showing how desperate they are to sell music online. Low-balling to compete will ruin the future of the industry"
